Multus

Multus develops media that costs less and performs better. We make media development cheaper and faster, so cultivated meat companies can focus on their process and product. Our goal is to help cultivated meat get from lab to market. We do this by combining in-house technology with supply chain partnerships. Our technology applies machine learning optimisation to laboratory automation. We automate media preparation and cell culturing, so we can test thousands of formulations in parallel. And we use optimisation algorithms to identify the best experiments for improving performance. We also partner with ingredient suppliers and media manufacturers to help meet our customers' requirements on media cost, quality and scale. In 2024 we're developing serum-free FBS replacement formulations using bovine and porcine cells. We will add more formulations using other cell types while reducing costs and improving performance.
