PoLoPo, a B2B ingredient company, is a molecular farming pioneer developing a cutting-edge plant biofactory for the high-scale production of animal proteins in potatoes, starting with egg protein — Ovalbumin. This SuperAA platform transforms every potato into a biofactory, producing identical animal-based proteins. By genetically modifying potato plants, we significantly increase the protein content of traditional potatoes, turning them into a protein production machine. We chose egg protein as the first target protein, yet many other animal-based proteins can be "installed" on the SuperAA platform, making it a unique means of production for many different food applications, such as dairy, meat, and even baby formulas.
