Catherine Caro is Nutrition Manager at Unilever, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies, whose mission is to make sustainable living commonplace and is committed to generate €1.5bn sales from plant-based products. Catherine has over 25 years experience in product development and her career has spanned across both Foods and Homecare categories. Her passion is designing products that are good for both people and for planet; delivered through development of high performing teams. She’s had the good fortune to work on exciting brands such as Seventh Generation and The Vegetarian Butcher that aim to demonstrate that products can deliver on sustainability together with great performance. She will be sharing her learnings on how the development of nutrition standards for reformulation has unlocked growth for The Vegetarian Butcher, a plant-based meat brand with the mission to unleash animals from the supply chain.
