Gero Greive is an expert in the field of biotechnology, experienced in the design of fermenters and bioreactors. Over the past 12 years, he has actively participated in various alternative protein projects and contributed to the development of tissue reactors and equipment for continuous fermentation processes. Gero currently holds the position of Head of Project Development at ERIDIA, which he has occupied since July 2023. In this role, Gero provides engineering and consultancy services to both start-ups and established corporations of the food industry, aiding them in the preparation of their biotech projects and the optimization of up- and downstream processes. Prior to this role, he had an extensive tenure at Bioengineering AG, where he served last as Head of Process Engineering from May 2019 to July 2023. Additionally, Gero held a process engineer position at InfraServ GmbH & Co. Knapsack KG from 2010 to 2012. Gero's educational background includes a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Process Engineering from TH Köln, obtained in 2012, and a chemical laboratory assistant diploma from Berufskolleg Kartäuserwall Köln, completed in 2005
