Marina Schmidt
Marina Schmidt is the Founder and Editor in Chief of the impact media outlet Red to Green Solutions. Red to Green hosts the most in-depth podcast on food tech and sustainability, covering each topic in 12 episodes. It is ranked in the 5% most shared and followed globally with a loyal listenership spanning over 160 countries. Red to Green has been listed and recommended as the top agrifood podcast by various industry insiders, including the MIT Food and Agriculture Club calling it an “excellent food tech series.” The past seven seasons covered the topics of cellular agriculture, plastic alternatives, consumer acceptance, food waste, and biotech in food, to name a few. Marina Schmidt combines a background in science and technology history focused on agriculture and food, with hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, communication, and market analysis. Marina co-founded Karrierehelden GmbH, a career consulting company working with the German government. The company is still up and running more than 10 years later. She then headed the Fightback Movement, a European collaboration platform focused on health & climate, working closely with the World Economic Forum. Before founding Red to Green Marina worked as a Lead Venture Developer for Creative Dock, the world’s largest independent corporate venture builder. She currently lives in lovely Lisbon.
